About me

Hi! I'm Amelia Meyer, a designer originally from Paradise Valley, AZ, currently living in Pasadena, CA. I studied Illustration: Entertainment Design at ArtCenter College of Design.

 

I am an author and illustrator working with my agent Kevin Lewis on multiple children’s publishing projects. In my work, I strive to create thoughtful designs infused with a playful sense of fun and humor. Additionally, my portfolio includes visual development for animation, editorial illustration, event sketching, and commissioned work.

 

When I am not in the studio, I love to catch a baseball game, host elaborate theme parties, or putter around a flea market, all the while sketching everyone around me. When I have time off, I am off! Off backpacking the Italian Dolomites, getting lost—literally!— in the safari of Tanzania, or attempting to surf in Costa Rica.
