About me

Hi! I'm Amelia Meyer, a designer originally from Paradise Valley, AZ, currently living in Brooklyn, NY. I studied in the Illustration: Entertainment Design program at ArtCenter College of Design.

I am an author and illustrator working with my agent Kevin Lewis on multiple children’s publishing projects. In my work, I strive to create thoughtful designs infused with a playful sense of fun and humor.

Additionally, I create custom maps and couple portraits for weddings and events. I developed these pieces when the people closest to me were searching for a unique way to tell their love story.

When I am not in the studio, I love to catch a baseball game, host elaborate theme parties, or putter around a flea market, all the while sketching everyone around me wherever I go. When I have time off, I am off looking for adventure! Whether backpacking the Italian Dolomites, getting lost — literally! — on safari in Tanzania, or freezing in the Arctic Circle.
